[Ruby's speech is a bit slurred, but at least the pain isn't as bad as it was.]

Dying sucks. I kinda knew that already, but...at least the Doc's good lookin'.

[Some shuffling and soft grunts. She's trying to find a more comfortable position.]

I really, really, reallyreally...hope he gets demoted for this. He coulda been the one...he coulda stabbed the life outta me and I wouldn't care. But...nono, he didn't do that. He brought the one person who shouldn't be on the same level as me, let alone the same room and let him have a weapon.

Not gonna lie, I did the same thing once, but I learned better, I did. You don't do that t' somebody you love, no matter what.

[There's a brief pause followed by a soft whimper and more shuffling.]

You're dumb.



[ooc: After much inner debate, I've decided drugs do have an effect on Ruby. As far as I can tell, other than the extra abilities, demons function about the same as humans when possessing a human body: they can eat, they can sleep, the lungs breathe, the heart pumps, etc. Demons are also known to enjoy such things as drinking, and that's not wrong in and of itself to anyone but the more conservative humans, so that doesn't stand as a good enough reason for me. Granted given those abilities the dose would have to be much stronger to have the same effect, but that's how I'm dealing with it.]

As stupid as I feel for saying this, the letters to Santa are nice, mainly because I'm in some of them. Really, I didn't think anybody cared enough. Thanks for thinking of me. It makes this shitty thing known as my life a little more bearable.
